Hiring Celeste was the best decision we made!  Our project was a whole-home remodel of a 3BR/2BA home that we expanded to a 4BR/3BA with a new kitchen, great room, laundry room, and foyer.  To complicate matters, we were living on the opposite side of the country for the whole process.  We simply couldn’t have attempted this project without Celeste.  

The original home was taken down to the studs and rebuilt from the ground up, so every detail had to be selected. It could easily have been overwhelming, but Celeste helped us to settle on a color palette and overarching style.  With her expertise, she guided us through the design of each room, and worked closely with our builder to stay ahead of the  many decisions that had to be made to keep the construction schedule on track.   We were only able to meet in person twice during the process.   With a combination of mood boards, Zoom calls, and mailed samples, she helped us select tile, flooring, fixtures, lighting, doors, trim, wood stain colors, paint color for our front door, exterior paint color,  custom cabinets, hardware, wallpaper, and shelving.   She also helped us design the most beautiful custom sofa made by  her furniture maker.  This was a huge undertaking  and I will say again, that we simply couldn’t have done it without Celeste.  We’d also like to thank her assistant, Alicia, who we know helped out throughout the process!

On a more personal note, Celeste was very easy to work with and patient with us throughout the entire process.  My husband and I were pretty stressed at times and Celeste talked us off the cliff more than once.  Her warm, friendly demeanor were as appreciated as her thoughtful design suggestions.  We highly recommend Pace Design!

First, having an interior designer is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. (At least for us.) In 2021 my husband and I were forced to renovate our first floor due to water damage in the kitchen. We were both working, have two kids, and knew we would need help. We had worked with Celeste over a decade ago when we first remodeled our kitchen to help with color choices, then a couple of years ago she helped my mother-in-law with her renovation of her new house. She did a beautiful job. Thus, we knew to hire her services for our forced, but much needed first-floor renovation.

As an interior designer, Celeste really listens to what you need and want. She is patient, organized, easy-going, professional, but most importantly she is very knowledgeable and skilled. She gets the work done.

Hiring Celeste saved us both time and money. How many times have we chosen a color or materials for a room and then later regretted it? We are not experts in interior design, choosing color, materials and reimagining a space. Nor, do we have the extra time to invest in these areas. That’s why we hired her services. We gave her ideas of what we wanted, and she quickly and skillfully set out to create a plan for us. She is an expert with color choices, materials, and design.

Not only does Celeste provide her expertise and years of experience to the job, but her connection with quality craftsmen is a huge time and money saver. Celeste is not a contractor but the craft people she works with are experienced and skillful. You get great value.

We completed our reno in 2022 and still love it. We believe Celeste should have her own show on HGTV because that’s how good she is. So, if you are wondering whether to hire her and have the means to do so, don’t wonder long, just do it.

“We hired Celeste to help us remodel our 1955 ranch house kitchen.  We oversaw our own job (no GC), but we needed someone to help us with the design aspect.  We’re design-challenged and didn’t want to blow our $50K budget and end up with crap.  Celeste fit the bill perfectly. “Celeste Pace helped me with an entire downstairs remodel of our home.  We removed a wall, moved and replaced a fireplace and put in 16 foot glass accordion doors.  She worked with our contractor and designed a new pantry and kitchen island, along with new kitchen cabinets and backsplash.
