LA Mood Board
A modern and fun mood board for a new client in LA. She lives with a roommate so her bedroom was the focus of this project. Emphasis on bold color with a serene touch. Working with a younger client with a different aesthetic was so fun for us at Pace Design.
New Modern Options for our Studio
The Modern Resource 4 Collection embodies the connection between the natural and architectural. Earthy palettes and painterly designs meet contemporary line-work and metallic elements for a blended aesthetic that is both timeless and distinctly modern. A full look at the book is available on our Instagram page. Take a look and see for yourself!

Moody Flat Lay
Felt like a flat lay kind of day. Sometimes it is just fun to practice creativity and create flay lays with different samples from our showroom. Here we put together something different with some of our favorite samples, with a focus on moody fabrics and neutral palettes. What do you think?
Custom Upholstery for Client’s Home
After the construction part of this project was complete, it was time to focus on furniture. The goal was to maximize the functionality of the space while keeping it cozy and contemporary. This custom low profile sectional with chaise and wood plinth base was a must for our clients. Check out the stages of its completion and the finished product on our Instagram!
Floral Powder Bath
Catching up from last week’s installations, I wanted to share this beautiful floral Harlequin wallpaper before the mirror goes in. Installed at another client’s home in Fullerton. Can’t wait to see the completed room!
2024 Color of the Year
✨Sherwin Williams 2024 Color of the Year is here! Upward SW 6239 is made with a “hint of silver lining” and is described as a breezy, blissful blue. What do you think?
European Interiors
There’s no question Europe is beautiful, both inside its historic buildings and outside of them. On Instagram I shared some shots of my favorite interior spaces from my recent trip. It included shots from hotels we stayed at, restaurants we ate at and other buildings we visited. There is so much inspiration around every corner!
New Wallpaper Marble Textures
Welcoming our new wallpaper book “Travertino”…. Just arrived last week!

Thoughts on Rental Property Design…
Rental property owners: Unless you are catering to a very niche visitor, your approach to a short term rental design should focus on what the majority of your guests will find inviting, cozy, and relaxing. Often times this is done with neutral colors, clean lines, and layered textures. And that’s just the beginning!
🏡
Looking to take on or refresh an existing short term rental? We are local and can visit anywhere in Orange County but accept online consultations as well! DM us to say hello and get more information.
From Inspo to Install!
Over on Instagram, we posted this gorgeous @casamance_official wallpaper, including their inspo shots and the final product after installed in our client’s home. We love the drama that it brings to their staircase, pictured above, and were so happy the homeowners love it as much as we do!
Fall Travels
I posted this image on Instagram from my recent trip to Europe with my husband, John. We started in Paris and traveled up and down Italy afterwards. It was a great trip! Here we are in Florence. So grateful to be able to have experiences like this. :)
Eco-friendly Rug Options
Loloi Rugs has some incredible rugs in their lineup right now. This is just a few of the new samples we carry at our office. Using space-dyed yarns, many of their new collections are GoodWeave certified, ensuring their commitment to ethical production, and the support of weavers communities. We love a sustainable product here at Pace Design, and know you will too!
Custom Built-ins Anyone?
The many stages of custom built-ins: framing, countertops, tile detail, and hardware! Another custom element for the living room at the Fullerton project. The tile matches that of the fireplace across the room. Getting closer to the finish line!
