Let Your Designer Take On the Stress For You…
Paint selection, lighting, space planning, plumbing fixtures, project management…. are you sure you want to do all this on your own?
There’s a LOT that goes into a remodel. Depending on the level of construction and size of the home, a project can take months to complete. This workload can be stressful for homeowners to take on, especially if they work full or even part time! Many may think a small side project will be easy to manage themselves but then get overwhelmed with the details involved in every design aspect. We recommend hiring a professional Interior Designer to take the burden off your shoulders so that you can enjoy the fun parts of redoing your home - selecting colors, furniture, fixtures etc. but most of all, enjoying the end result!
Bold Pattern Challenge - Are you game?
So often people think of bold patterns and colors as something that should be reserved only for a pillow or art piece. But we challenge you to rethink that idea!
There are numerous ways you can add color to a room and many levels of how much pattern to incorporate. These inspo shots are proof of that… go for a patterned statement sofa with soft, muted walls, or a vibrant accent wall with a solid, neutral toned chair. However you embrace pattern and color, your home is sure to stand out!

Bathroom Design
Looking back at one of our favorite bathroom remodels we’ve done in the recent past. Our clients loved color and texture and wanted a warm bohemian vibe. I love the cool smokey blue tiles juxtaposed with the warmer tones and the soft patterns behind the sink. Tiles provided by @specceramicsinc and fixtures from @faucetsnfixtures. Visit our IG page for the complete reveal!
Grateful for 2022
I am thankful for the year we had in 2022. Take a look at the reel we made on IG honoring the year and some of our favorite moments. Looking forward to a healthy and happy 2023, full of friends, family, and DESIGN!
Benjamin Moore 2022 Color of the Year
As we look back at the year 2022, we wanted to give honorable mention to the color seen here - a beautiful sage green by Benjamin Moore called “October Mist”…
Our showroom library of fabrics and wallpaper was full of this color and we can see why! It’s easy on the eyes and had a lovely vintage vibe. Pair it easily with an off-white and soft pink or pale yellow for a cozy neutral palette.
✨Wallpaper Wednesday ✨
When creating this collection, designers at Omexco looked to “blend non-woven prints and resplendent minerals: glass beads and mika sparkles. A subtle interplay between shadow and light, matt and shine, on unique designs inspired by nature or geometry. Like a handprint, the print techniques are selected to convey the beauty of the materials imperfections.“
Visit our Instagram to see more images of this collection as well as a close up of the wallcovering. Perfect for an accent wall, this and many more options from @omexcowallcoverings are sure to make your space stand out!
The Fifth Wall…
What is Celeste doing here?!?
A) demonstrating to our client what she learned in Vegas once
B) showing off her gains and how consistency at the gym is key
C) going above and beyond to show what a wallpaper sample would potentially look like on the client’s ceiling at home
If you guessed C, you’d be right!
In the design industry, the ceiling is often referred to as “the fifth wall”. Putting a wallcovering on the ceiling can help add dimension and texture to a room. Depending on the color or pattern used, it can also help a small room feel larger!
Thibaut
Things that make us happy… wallpaper and fabric collections from Thibaut that are packed with color and whimsy.
Like this design but curious what other color combinations it comes in? Well there’s more where this came from! Make an appointment to come visit our studio’s library and see all the fabric and wallpaper options available to you to order! We’ve got hundreds of designs and can assist you with the redesign of any room in your home.
Tile Tuesday anyone?
When visiting our local tile stores, I feel like a kid in a candy store. All the varieties and colors are enough to put anyone in a good mood!
My favorite tile as of late is the Zellige tile, pictured above. Known for its variation in tones and shine, it can be used on the wall of your bathroom, showers, and kitchen backsplash. It gained popularity over the past year with its artisan feel that creates a cozy texture. Dating back several centuries, Zellige tiles are made from a clay mixture found in Morocco. Its uniqueness comes from a hand applied glaze, resulting in no two tiles looking exactly the same. You can see in the image above how a tone-on-tone effect comes through, allowing for some variance in color that is easy on the eyes.
New Fabrics from Casamance
We couldn’t get enough of the rich colors and retro designs presented from Casamance from our rep’s last visit to our showroom. Thank you to Garrett from @the.real.thomas.lavin for sharing these with us! Check out our post on Instagram for the full video!
Before & After
Check out a recent bathroom remodel, this time for our clients in La Habra!
Porcelain slabs were used on the countertop, shower and bath walls, providing a nice continuity throughout the room. Existing cabinets were given a fresh look with new pulls. Plumbing hardware seen throughout is in Satin Bronze finish. A Vinyl wallcovering and latte colored custom shades complete the look. Check out our Instagram post for the full transformation!
Client Feedback
Receiving feedback like this from our clients is what it’s all about! We are so grateful to the Jezowski’s for choosing to work with us on the remodel of their primary bath.
Project Before and After
Our clients the Jezowski’s wish list included a spa like barrier-free shower, better lighting, and a larger closet.
So, we removed a dated corner tub that was not in use, reconfigured the shower to the other side of the room, added a bright sky light and built a large and roomy walk-in closet! Thank you to Lund Construction for their expertise throughout the project. Check out our post on Instagram for the whole remodel!
A project in the works…
Seen here is a combination of the primary and guest bath tiles as well as countertop and cabinet selections. Stay tuned for more as the project progresses!
